The way you tell your story can make all the difference.

Stories are divine instruments of transformation. They share testimonies of redemption, where individuals find salvation through their faith, breaking the chains of addiction. Through these stories, we witness the healing power of God, guiding souls towards recovery, and offering a path of righteousness and spiritual renewal.

My Name is Angie Torres and here is my story.

“My Life was very unstable before coming to Lifeline. I am a person who has struggled with mental health issues since I was young. I started taking psych meds at the age of 4 and have been on and off of them my entire life. I never found stability so I decided to take matters into my own hands and started doing drugs. I went through phases and cycles throughout the years. I was in and out of Psychiatric hospitals, rehabs, and long-term facilities. I looked towards drugs, chaos, witchcraft, and even physical perfection, but nothing took away the sad feeling of confusion and hopelessness of who I was and what the point of anything was. Lifeline changed my life. I’ve tried many different kinds of treatments, nothing ever worked. Lifeline has given me so much, it has taught me self- discipline, structure, and most importantly, it taught me how to have a relationship with God. I can confidently say I have found my peace and stability. I am sober, medication free, and I’m productive! I am in Phase 4 of the program, back in school, and shooting for a health science major. My goals are to get married, have a bunch of kids, and travel around the world, all while edifying the Kingdom of God.”

My Name is Giovanni Cedillo and here is my story.

Gio has phased up in our Lifeline program! We asked him about his time here and this is what he had to say. "I was tired of living a life outside of Christ and I am so grateful that Lifeline opened its doors to me as a returning resident for a third time. I have been in and out of institutions my whole life. However, it wasn't until I became a part of this program that I actually put into practice life altering principles." In Lifeline we teach spiritual discipline, relationship cultivation, leadership principles, and financial management. Gio is rebuilding his life with those tools and we get to serve him along the way. No matter how many times someone fails, we are here to help see their transformation through. He went on to say, "I have phased up for the first time after coming to Lifeline Rehabilitation three times and I am thankfully employed at Rent-A-Center. I am so thankful for Lifeline and its structure. I am now on the right path."
